Leadership LINKS Mentoring Program for Girls
The Leadership LINKS Mentoring Program for Girls is a 9–month program (September–May), for students in 6th through 12th grades, which prepares them to become the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and executive leaders.
Mentoring and programs take place through face-to-face meetings (in High Point and Durham, NC) or virtually, with girls joining from across the Southeast.
Leadership LINKS uses well-researched best practices and a small group mentoring model to provide:
Character and spiritual development while cultivating the skill of building healthy and loving relationships;
Education and life skills to pursue personal and professional dreams, and lead an impactful life for the greater good of humanity;
Exposure to a variety of career fields with a focus on innovation, entrepreneurship, and executive leadership; and
Inspiration and support to pursue college, career, technical, and professional opportunities to lead with purpose.

Mentoring Across Generations
We believe in the power of long-term investment in order to transform lives. Our mentors understand the positive impact that mentoring can have on a young person’s life, and they are committed to continuing their mentoring relationships, formally or informally, for the rest of the LINKS Leader’s life. Our Youth LINKS Leaders (program participants) also serve as peer mentors for each other as they glean Knowledge from a diverse group of adult leaders and mentors who work in various career fields.
Throughout the mentoring season, we provide networking and career exploration opportunities as well as further leadership, team building, and service opportunities through the Youth Leadership Committee. LINKS Leaders are also invited to join our spring Leadership Experience Tour (LET), an immersive travel experience highlighting Black history, culture and scholarship.
Stay tuned for when enrollment for the 2025-2026 Leadership LINKS Mentoring Program for Girls opens.
Leadership LINKS, Inc. is a faith-informed organization, meaning that the Christian faith of the organization’s leadership team informs every aspect of our lives, leadership, and service to this organization and its Network. It also inspires our organizational programming and curriculum development. While commitment to the Christian faith is not a requirement for program participation; respect for this emphasis is important for a participant to get the most out of their experience and to encourage positive group dynamics.
