“Journey to Freedom” Global Leadership Experience Tour

June 19 – July 3, 2025

The Global Leadership Experience Tour (Global LET) is a transformative 14-day journey that provides Black girls and women with the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of Harriet Tubman—whose unwavering faith fueled her pursuit of freedom and justice.

The Journey Toward Freedom tour retraces the courageous path of Tubman along the Underground Railroad, beginning in North Carolina on Juneteenth 2025 and culminating in Ontario, Canada, on July 3rd—an odyssey through history that embodies resilience, faith, and liberation. Along the way, participants will visit significant historical sites, engage with historians, artists, museum curators, and storytellers, and reflect on the enduring legacy of faith-based social action.

This experience is more than a tour—it is a pilgrimage that honors the labor, faith, and leadership of Black women throughout history. Each stop offers an opportunity for deep learning, personal reflection, and spiritual renewal, with daily discussions designed to process the weight and wisdom of these sacred spaces.

While this journey is dedicated to empowering the Black girls and women who attend, it is part of a broader Journey Toward Freedom Creative Ecosystem—a movement that uplifts the faith-driven activism of Black women as a force for social healing. Through a documentary film, curriculum, podcast, and national network, we are amplifying the history and possibility of faith-based leadership, affirming the dignity of this often-overlooked community, and equipping future generations to lead with purpose.
